Kerala School Students Learn Beekeeping

Pune, December 29, 2007 (source: Mohamed Nazeer in The Hindu ePaper, October 8, 2007): Students of Poomangalam Upper Primary School in Kurumathur panchayat, near Taliparamba, Kannur (Cannanore) are learning apiculture as an additional skill as part of the ‘Income along with studies’ project being implemented in schools. Nearly 40 students are involved in the mission to popularise beekeeping.
